It is easy to discover scuba diving during your Bargain Holidays to Sharks Bay. If the full PADI course does not work for you but you want to experience the thrill of diving then spare half a day to learn not only the basics of diving but also the proper use of the diving equipment. Your instructor will then take you diving at a maximum 12 metre-depth.
You can let your 10 to 12 year old children experience the thrill of diving during your Sharks Bay Bargain Holidays through a two to three day course. While the course starts with a DVD of the PADI training course, your children will be thrilled during their Sharks Bay Bargain Holidays because after learning the basic underwater skills, they will be able to get more practical knowledge at the dive centre. Children must however be able to tread for at least 10 minutes in the water to qualify for this course.
Taking the Open Water course during your Bargain Holidays to Sharks Bay will take up to five days but the certification you get after the course will be for life. If you finish the course during your Bargain Holidays to Sharks Bay then you will be allowed to join guided dives at a maximum 18-metre depth or a maximum 12-metre depth for Junior Open Water Divers. From the classroom, your instructor will take you to the dive centre and then onto the confined house reef. You must however be physically fit and able to treat for at least 10 minutes in the water and able to swim to 200 metres.
Your Sharks Bay Bargain Holidays will allow you to take the Open Water referral for two days. This is a more advanced class for those who have gone through the theory and the confined parts of the Open Water course before their Sharks Bay Bargain Holidays. You will now be entitled to four open water dives, two of which will be an adventure into the depths of 18 metres in Sharks Bay. If you are planning to continue with the course then don't forget to bring your Referral paper with you, of course with the signature of your instructor.
